You are testing the web-app on staging. You pay for an order, but the order status stays “Pending”. You tell Priya, the QA engineer, and write the ticket.
Order status stays Pending after payment
Environment: staging, web-app 2.8.1
Steps to reproduce:
1. Log in as a customer.
2. Pay for an order.
3. Open the order page.
Expected: the status should change to Paid.
Actual: the status stays Pending.
A clear bug report has four parts: a title that says what is wrong, the environment, numbered steps, and the expected and actual results.
