Mission: Help a Visitor — Speaking
Practise helping a visitor: say what there is nearby, give directions and answer questions about buses.
You'll practice:
- asking and saying what there is with Is there...? and There is...
- giving directions with Go straight and Turn left
- saying where a place is with next to and across from
- asking politely with Could you help me?
- having a short conversation with a visitor
How it works

Give a short route
Listen to the example, then record two short sentences about you.
Help Alex find transport
You and Alex take turns asking and answering — 4 short answers.
Visitor-help mission
A short free conversation: Alex starts, you reply (about 5–8 turns). Then Miss Sunny gives you feedback.
- Tap 🎙 and speak, then tap “■ Stop”. Miss Sunny checks what you said and gives one quick tip.
- The first time, your browser asks to use the microphone — tap Allow.
- If Miss Sunny can't hear you clearly, it isn't counted as a mistake — just try again.
