Lesson 3 — Write a Memory from the Past

✍️ Writing · B1

Write a Memory from the Past

Write connected B1 memory texts that contrast old habits with life today.

You'll practice:

  • describe past states with used to
  • describe repeated actions with would
  • add a specific Past Simple memory
  • compare then and now clearly

How it works

3 parts

  1. Describe an Old Routine

See a model, fill in your details, then write your introduction (80–110 words).

  2. Add a Specific Memory

Write a short text about yourself (120–160 words). Miss Sunny checks it and shows what to fix.

  3. Write a Then-and-Now Memory

On your own this time: a short, friendly message (160–210 words).

  • Every part: 👀 model → 📝 plan → ✍️ write → ✅ Miss Sunny checks → final version.
  • You can fix your text and check it again. Your drafts are saved automatically.
