Lesson 9 — Controlled Counterargument

✍️ Writing · C2

Controlled Counterargument

Write arguments that acknowledge serious objections without surrendering the main position.

You'll practice:

  • source ranking
  • evidence weighting
  • qualified synthesis
  • pragmatic interpretation

How it works

3 parts

  1. Concede and Reassert

See a model, fill in your details, then write your introduction (120–150 words).

  2. Academic Counterclaim

Write a short text about yourself (170–210 words). Miss Sunny checks it and shows what to fix.

  3. Policy Argument with Concession

On your own this time: a short, friendly message (230–280 words).

  • Every part: 👀 model → 📝 plan → ✍️ write → ✅ Miss Sunny checks → final version.
  • You can fix your text and check it again. Your drafts are saved automatically.
